WHAT TO DO IN MONTAUK

Where to Eat

The Crow's Nest

A favorite of Ben & Sam's. Check out the sunset out back while waiting for your table. We love the mezze platter, fresh whipped ricotta, and harissa seabass. We recommend calling before you go, as they may be closed for the season by the time our wedding weekend is here.

Harvest on Fort Pond

Harvest on Fort Pond is open year-round and wonderful for group dinners. The portions are family style and the food is delicious. If you can get there before sunset, the restaurant is directly on Fort Pond and is a beautiful place to watch the sun go down.

West Lake Fish House

Super fresh sushi on the marina and BBC cocktails made famous by the now closed Cyril's. Big thanks to Gavin McCullough for introducing us to this hidden gem, which is very casual.

Salivar's

Ben swears by Salivar's fluke parmesan and has cravings for it year-round. Located on the docks next to Gosman's.

Swallow East

Next to Salivar's, Swallow East serves small plates. We love the sweet and spicy crispy calamari. This restaurant is great for groups!

Shagwong Tavern

Located in town, Shagwong Tavern serves fantastic bar food and a great late night (as in 9:00pm) burger.

St. Peter's Catch

Located next to Montauk Brewing Company, St. Peter's Catch has the best fish tacos in Montauk. Place your order and walk next door to the brewery - they'll bring your tacos over when they are ready.

The Lobster Roll

Located on Montauk Highway on the way into Montauk, The Lobster Roll has our favorite lobster rolls and fried clam strips.

Duryea's

Located on beautiful Fort Pond Bay, grab a table and place your order at the window inside. We recommend coming for the house salad, lobster rolls, and rose.

Scarpetta Beach

Located at Gurney's Resort where the wedding will take place, Scarpetta Beach is open nightly and serves the same Italian fare that can be found at their NYC location.

Goldberg's

You can't go far in Montauk without being close to a Goldberg's bagels. Pro tip: if you are picking up bagels with cream cheese on the side, you can skip the line.

Montauk Bake Shop

Anyone who knows Ben knows that he loves a chocolate donut and the ones at Montauk Bake Shop are a close second to the ones at Grade A in Stamford.

Corso Coffee

Located at Gurney's Resort where the wedding will take place, Corso Coffee is an espresso bar open daily from 7:00am-11:00pm.

Where to Drink

Montauk Brewing Company

Check out Montauk Brewing Company's brew bar, where all beers are made on site. Open daily.

The Montauket

Known for its beautiful sunset location, The Montauket is our year-round favorite. Grab a rum punch and head out back for daily magic hour sunsets.

Ruschmeyer's

This adult summer camp-themed bar is great for evening and late nights in Montauk. Try your hand at the life-size jenga or get funky on the dance floor inside.

Gurney's Beach Club

Located at Gurney's Resort where the wedding will take place, Gurney's Beach Club serves pina coladas among other frozen cocktails on the beach.

Regent Cocktail Club

Located at Gurney's Resort where the wedding will take place, The Regent Cocktail Club has sweeping ocean views and delicious cocktails.

What to Do

Ditch Plains Beach

This lovely stretch of beach is a favorite due to strong waves, surf watching, and the Ditch Witch food truck.

Montauk Downs

You will likely find the father of the bride at this 18-hole course throughout the wedding weekend. Soft spikes only.

Soulcycle

A Saturday morning Montauk tradition (not for Ben).
